How about something very different
to entertain and inform your group?

Victorian Entertainments
We tell you about the entertainments the middle class and working class would have enjoyed – parlour songs and music hall ditties – poems, quotes and quips – the serious and the funny – the posh to the poor!
Get your vocal chords tuned up as we invite you to join in with some of the well-known songs; and then jog your memory with a quiz!
Dressed in clothes made by our own fair hands, we will bring a little taste of Victorian life to your group.
A Victorian Christmas
Come and celebrate the festive season with carols and poems, riddles and quizzes!
(Go to the ‘Christmas Talks’ page for more information! Available November/December)
A Day in the Life of a Victorian lady
What does a Victorian lady do all day? How does she spend her time, and how much is spent with her family. Does she go out and where does she go? How does she deal with her servants, and what does the housekeeper do to rule the house below stairs?! Discover what life was like for them both, and what they think about it!
We can create tailor-made packages especially for your group
– Women’s Institutes, U3A’s, church groups, history societies, youth groups, art societies, residential homes and all the rest!
£70 for an hour-long talk plus 45p per mile travel expenses.
We are available all year round – morning, afternoon or evening
– but only Christmas talks in November & December.
We are on the Approved Speakers Lists for the Worcestershire Federation of Women’s Institutes, Gloucestershire Local History Forum,
Probus SW, and the Worcester History Forum..
